A Note From Mrs. A:

Dear kiddos and family members,

I hope you are doing well and staying healthy. I am looking forward to reconnecting with you all. As we navigate some uncharted waters, please be kind, patient, and helpful. This is a new learning experience for many, myself included, but we are WARRIORS and this community has a strong, resolute spirit that prevails during tough times. You have done it numerous times, and now we must come together again.

We have had nearly two weeks to adjust to this change in our lives. Now, looking around, how can we (you) make the best of it? What can we do for ourselves, our family, our friends as well as our community to keep them safe and well and make the most of a situation by focusing on the small circumstances we can control.

Literature and Life: right??? Recall Anne Frank. One of the profound themes in her diary is that in extraordinary circumstances humans need to try to establish a “normal.” The Franks along with the other annex members while in hiding from the Nazis still set schedules, assigned chores, sat down for meals together, danced, played games, went on dates, and the children with the help from the adults continued with their education.

Your teachers are going to be reaching out to you, some already have, to make the most of this unprecedented situation and to help guide you in your education. Make the most of it. Take advantage of the time to ask questions, seek clarity, delve into something deeper where you may have been lacking that needed time before. We are here to help you.

Take care WARRIORS. WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER.

~Mrs. A
