Biography
I graduated from Montoursville High School in 1994. I received my BA in Psychology and Education from Lycoming College in 1998. I went on to earn my Masters Degree in Teaching and Learning from Lock Haven University.
I have been teaching at McCall Middle School for 15 years.
Supplies for 2020-2021 school year for 7th grade Algebraic Concepts:
-1.5-2 in 3 ring binder
-pencils-no pens allowed for we make a lot of mistakes in math
-single subject notebook
-a TI 30XS calculator or a TI 30Xiis (In years past, I have provided calculators to students that didn’t have their own. Due to Covid-19, I feel it is safest for each child to have their own. I will only be providing students with calculators if they forget them on a quiz or test day.)

5 – 8 Choral, 5 – 6 General Music
Biography
Welcome back, Warriors! I can’t wait to see familiar faces and meet some new ones! Remember that even though this year may look different, we can still do great things and have lots of fun!
Required materials: All students will be provided with a folder for 5th and 6th grade general music. All chorus students will receive a folder or 3-ring binder and a pencil. All you need to bring is a smile and positive attitude!
Students: You’ll be added to Google Classrooms in the next two weeks. Please be checking your school Gmail accounts for invitations to join the class.
Students and parents: You’ll be asked to sign up for message alerts via Remind. Each class/choir has a specific code for sign up.
- 5th grade code: @mcchorus5
- 6th grade code: @mcchorus6
- Golden Girls code: @mccallgg78
- C.E. Singers code: @cesing78
Important info for Chorus: This is the year of change and flexibility! Chorus classes will look a little different. In an effort to be overly cautious and safe, no group singing will occur in large groups. In chorus and voice lesson classes, students will only sing in small groups when masked and distance of 6ft. is possible. Weather permitting, we may occasionally sing in small groups outside. These plans are subject to change as further studies take place and new information becomes available. Students will be asked to sing at home with the aid of recordings and teaching tools provided by Miss Burleigh. Thank you for your patience and positive attitude in the face of a bizarre situation!
Most importantly, stay healthy, both physically and mentally. Don’t be afraid to reach out and ask questions or simply say hello. I’m here for you all!
Musically yours,
Miss Burleigh
