ATTENTION PARENTS/GUARDIANS:
We are in the midst of the “flu season”. Here are some helpful guidelines you should follow when making the decision to either send your child to school or keep them home.
KEEP YOUR CHILD HOME FROM SCHOOL WHEN:
- They have a temperature of 100 degrees or more
- They have red eye(s) accompanied with discharge or matting
- They have vomited the evening/night before school
- They have persistent diarrhea
- They have been diagnosed with an infection (such as “pink eye” or strep throat). Your child should be on antibiotics for at least 24 hours before returning to school.

Throughout the year, students will engage in hands-on learning experiences such as:

Sewing and creative projects

-

-
A pair of headphones
I look forward to an engaging and successful school year as we build skills for both today and the future!…

A change of clothes is RECOMMENDED but not required.
– If we are outside and it is hot, it is best to bring a change of clothes due to sweat.

In order to better prepare for ELA, here are some materials that you will find necessary for my class:
REQUIRED:
1 or 3 inch binder
Loose leaf paper
OPTIONAL:
Folder (You’ll need to hang onto paperwork for open note tests. You can keep the papers in a folder or just use the classroom hole puncher and keep the papers in your binder with your notes. Do what works best for you!)
Small pack of colored pencils, crayons, or even markers.
