Lyter Elementary School

Lyter students will learn about Fire Safety and Prevention from members of our local fire departments.   Thank you First Responders!

Students will walk laps around Memorial Stadium to earn the donated pledges they have collected from family and friends.  A schedule of grade level assigned walking times will be sent home prior to the day of the event.

Parents of students enrolled in the Title I Reading Program and Kindergarten parents are invited to Title I Family Night.  This annual event will take place in the cafeteria of the Montoursville Area High School.

Following some refreshments, parents will learn about some helpful hints to assist their children with school work while the children will participate in some games.  Look for the invitation from the Title I staff and RSVP if you are able to attend.

The School Library will hold its annual Scholastic Book Fair during regular school hours on school days for the students.   Specific shopping times for each classroom will announced closer to the date of the event.
