Lyter Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO)

The Lyter Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a group of parents, teachers, and administrators who work together to benefit the school and create an environment where each student can realize their full potential. The PTO strives to foster a strong working relationship among parents, teachers, and administration to enhance the intellectual, physical, and emotional well-being of all children enrolled at Lyter Elementary.

PTO meetings are typically held on the first Thursday of each month (September through May) in the Lyter Library. Child care is usually provided by the HS Key Club students. If you have any questions or are interested in more information about the PTO feel free to email us at lyterpto1@gmail.com.

Fundraisers

Annual Walk-A-Thon – Sponsor a student at Lyter Elementary School for the largest fundraiser of the year. Corporate sponsors are always appreciated.

Fall Food Truck Night – Area food truck vendors will be parked in the Walnut Street parking lot of Lyter Elementary on the evening of the annual Homecoming parade/football game. Come out for some great food while supporting local vendors and our school!

Whoopie Pies or Cookies Sale– Whoopie Pies from the “Let’s Make Whoopie” Food Truck or Gourmet Cookies from local bakers will be sold each year and portions of the sales benefit our school!

Reward Programs

Weis4Schools Rewards – Register your Weis Card and each purchase you make will help raise money to benefit our school. Follow the instructions on the attached form to link your Weis Card to support Lyter Elementary with every purchase you make at Weis Markets.
