Warriors kick off spring sports

 

Senior Nevaeh Montoya hits the softball. The Warriors won the game against Montgomery 13-5.
Senior Sidney Boyle passes the baton to sophomore Becca Teffeteller. In the 4×100 race, they were the A team and placed second.
Senior Sam Kutay prepares to hit the tennis ball as it floats downwards. The team lost 2-3 against Loyalsock.
Junior Teli Bobotas serves against Loyalsock. Bobotas previously earned the rank of number one single on the boys’ tennis team.
Senior Leah Kaufman leaps across the track to land in the long jump pit. Kaufman jumped a distance of 14’9.5.
The boys 100-meter dash begins with a bang from the start-gun. Senior Andrew Trueman and junior Christain Banks earned sixth and seventh place out of the 26 participants.
Senior Sean Frey runs the 800-meter run, earning first place with a time of two minutes and ten seconds. His sophomore year, Frey won states with the 4×100 team.

 

Junior Jonah Heddings pitches the ball to the hitter from Loyalsock. The team won the scrimmage against Loyalsock by a large margin.
Junior Raigan Fredericks prepares for the incoming softball. Fredericks has played softball for the Warriors for two years.
Senior Nevaeh Montoya catches junior Julie Friel’s pitch. The team currently has a 0-2 record, with more games to come.
The boys baseball team plays in a scrimmage against Loyalsock. Last season, the team ended with a 14-5 record.
