Photo Story: Winter formal

The Winter Formal dance starts off at a great start with people slowly joining the dance floor. Before people went to the dance floor to dance, they received two tickets to vote for their winter formal king and queen.
Everyone joins in on the dance floor to dance to the famous “Cha Cha Slide” song. During that time there were very few people roaming around and communicating because the majority of them were enjoying the “Cha Cha Slide.”
Here people are taking a break from excessive dancing and are focused on having fun hanging out with their friends. During that period many people went to the tables set aside to take a break and get snacks and drinks at the food table.

Students continue to dance to songs that are well known as a whole group. These dances were the most organized and exciting dances that the students put together.
Contestants for formal king and queen line up to be introduced to everyone attending the formal. Whoever had received the most votes by the students attending the dance would be crowned formal king and queen.
Contestants are lined up waiting the announcement of the formal king and queen. Prior to this they were each introduced to the audience and all their accomplishment throughout high school were listed.

Brenna Rosenbaum is named formal queen and Andrew Zhu is named formal king. Rosenbaum won by only one vote, with Leah Kaufman right behind her. All the contestants did very well and all of them should feel accomplished.
