Dads are seen standing around while their daughters get their faces painted, and there were so many heart-warming moments between fathers and all the young girls. Photo by Sophia Perez<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\">Usually the dance is held during the spring at the elementary school, but this year it was changed to a winter dance at the high school.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\">\u201cI would\u2019ve loved to attend the dance at the high school instead of the elementary school when I was younger,\u201d Mowrey described.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\">Trick said the school administration is highly supportive of the dance and willingly approves the facility requests every year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\">&#8220;Everything went smoothly, the only complaint was the lighting.,&#8221; Mowrey said. \u201cWe could\u2019ve definitely benefited from more lights.
