Key Club adviser Mrs. Andrea Tira feels ready enough to resign her position after the school year ends.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a hard decision to make,\u201d said Tira, \u201cThe timing is right since [Key Club] is in good shape.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The announcement was very out of the blue, as described by a few members.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a big shock and very unexpected, [Tira] was explaining the club\u2019s history and just dropped the news,\u201d said sophomore Nadia Farenish.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tira described the moment as bittersweet and sad.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m ready for new things\u2026 I don\u2019t plan on advising anymore clubs, but I am teaching a new class,\u201d said Tira.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tira said she will continue to be a member of the Kiwanis.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt won\u2019t be hard to adjust to a new adviser, but it won\u2019t be the same,\u201d said Farenish, \u201cShe was kind and cared a lot about the club and others could sense that from her.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a shame. [Tira] is a good mentor,” said sophomore Leah Stine.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is unknown at this time who will take over Tira\u2019s adviser position.<\/span><\/p>\n
