Each month, the coaches from the selected athletic teams choose a senior they strongly believe is their athlete of the month. The qualities a coach looks for in this decision are leadership, hard work, good sportsmanship, and one that gives their best effort every day. Seniors Shea Ulmer and Emily George are representing both the girl\u2019s and boy\u2019s basketball programs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Q: Do you have any superstitions or pre-game rituals?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

A:\u00a0 \u2018I listen to the same music before every game.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

A: \u201c’Bitin List’ by Tyler Childers.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

A: \u201cYou miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t take.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Q: What advice would you give to younger players?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

A: \u201cStay focused and don’t give up on the sport.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Q: Which college are you looking to attend and what is your current major of interest?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

A: \u201cWest Chester University to major in Psychology.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

A: \u201c12 years.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Q: How many hours of sleep do you try to get the night before your game?\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

A: \u201c<\/span>I always do the same form shooting routine during warmups.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A: \u201c<\/span>My favorite song to listen to is probably either ‘Thru Your Phone’ or ‘Be Careful’ by Cardi B, or anything by Rihanna.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A: \u201c<\/span> My favorite pre game snack is probably my honey stingers which give me energy during the game, and my favorite drink is Vitamin Water.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A: \u201c<\/span>I would tell the younger girls to focus on the lessons you are learning and the bonds you are building through the sport because without each other nothing would be achieved.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A: \u201c<\/span>I am attending Pennsylvania College of Technology to study nursing, and become a nurse practitioner. I am also continuing to play basketball and softball.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A: \u201c<\/span>I have played basketball for 12 years.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
