This month\u00a0 junior Ethan Voyten and freshman Regan Greene represent both marching band and color guard.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;font-size: 14pt\"><b><i>Ethan Voyten (Junior) &#8211; Marching Band<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\"><b>Q: What is your favorite part about being in the marching band?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\">A: \u201cBeing able to perform in front of a full stadium of people.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\"><b>Q: What is your favorite memory from marching band?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\">A: \u201cWhen we got the show all the way done [during Band Camp] and we started playing music. That was the best thing ever because we were halfway done.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\"><b>Q: What instrument(s) do you play in marching band, and why?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\">A: \u201cI play the sousaphone; it\u2019s the bigger version of a tuba. I play the sousaphone because I love being able to play as loud as I can in front of people.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\"><b>Q: How do you manage being both a football player and a member of marching band?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\">A: \u201cI manage to have time for both things by trying to remember what I have to do that is important for each thing.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\"><b>Q: What would you say to someone who is planning on joining the marching band next year?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\">A: \u201cI would tell them that they should definitely join because it\u2019s a lot of fun to play in front of a ton of people. I love talking and dancing to the songs.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\"><b>Q: What is your favorite colorguard\/marching band memory?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\">A: \u201cMy favorite colorguard memory is probably getting to do [\u201cLand of 1000 Dances\u201d] after the games and do the dance with all the girls and the cheerleaders.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\"><b>Q: Why did you choose to be a part of the colorguard?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\">A: \u201cI heard about colorguard from my cousin and heard about tryouts. I tried it and ended up really liking it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\"><b>Q: What would your advice be to someone who is looking to join colorguard next year?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\">A: \u201cMy advice would be to have fun with it, but still put in the work.
