Montoursville boys’ soccer started off strong with a win against Milton on August 28. The Warriors defended their turf, ending the game with a final score of 4-1.

Junior Bryce Winslow says the team has been performing well, “Exceeding our expectations” in the early part of the season.
Winslow has been on the varsity soccer team for three years, following in both of his brothers’ footsteps.
Quinn (Class of ‘26), a current Montoursville senior, and Mason (Class of ‘23) a Montoursville grad, have both performed exceedingly well in soccer and track.
Winslow has proven that he’s as exceptional as his brothers. “I have scored 10 goals within the six games we have played this season,” said Winslow. Even after the first Warrior win, he has performed extraordinarily well.

“Adapting to our new varsity team was a challenge,” said Winslow when explaining a set back he entered into the season with.
However, they jumped over all of the hurdles, and so far the team has been undefeated so far this season.
Winslow says he hopes to help the team advance as far as possible in districts. The outlook is good, with an undefeated record and his incredible success thus far.
