The qualities a coach looks for in this decision are leadership, hard work, good sportsmanship, and one that gives their best effort every day. Football and cheerleading were selected as the athletic teams this month. Owen Kelinman represents football and CeCe Sawyer represents Cheerleading.

A: “I have no superstitions.”

A: “I like closing my eyes in silence.”

A: “Jerky and Pedialyte.”

A: “Attitude makes a difference.”
Q: Do you plan to play football in college?
A: “Possibly.”
Q: Which college are you looking to attend and what is your current major of interest?
A: “Don’t know which college but my interest is aviation.”

A: “It’s the little things that put you to the next level.”

A: “12 years.”
Q: How many hours of sleep do you try and get the night before your game?
A: “Nine hours.”

A: “I do not.”

A: “My favorite song on the bus is ‘Hotel Room Service’ by Pitbull. The whole team gets really into it.”

A: “If you really love it, don’t give it up when things get hard. This sport can be so rewarding if you just push through.”

A: “I’m not sure yet, but I am considering it.”
Q: Which college are you looking to attend and what is your current major of interest?
A: “I wish to attend either Penn State or Lycoming and major in psychology.”
Q: What is the best advice a coach has ever given you?
A: “My coaches tell me to always be confident in what I’m doing.”

A: “8 years.”
Q: How many hours of sleep do you try and get the night before your game or competition?
A: “I don’t usually track my sleep before a game, but I try to get at least eight hours before a competition.”
