Completing the Registration Process:

- If you already have a child attending MASD Schools and you have a Parent Portal account, you will able to login to the Parent Portal, click the blue “register new student” tab towards the right side of the screen.
- If you are new to the district/do not have children currently enrolled in MASD Schools, you can visit our website: montoursville.k12.pa.us. Click under the Parent tab – New Student Registration – Kindergarten Registration (or you can click on the “Kindergarten Registration” link below in this email). Follow the prompts to setup a Parent Portal account and fill in the required information about your child.
- Do Not Have a Computer to Register? Please call one of the elementary school offices Lyter Elem. (570-368-2614), Loyalsock Valley Elem. (570-435-0446), or Diana McElwee at 570-368-2491 ext 6100 to schedule an appointment to begin the registration process.

STEP 2: Submit required copies of documentation to the school.
Document Submission –
- Please drop off all required documents (see chart below) anytime at the school.
- Special Document Drop Off Day & School Tour– Thursday, March 28, 2024 – anytime between 9:00 am to 3:00 pm – Staff at Loyalsock Valley Elementary and Lyter Elementary School will be available to receive copies of the Required Documentation (see below) and provide a brief tour of the school.
Kindergarten Screenings are scheduled for the following dates: Loyalsock Valley – May 21, 2024; Lyter – May 22 and 23, 2024. The Kindergartener MUST be registered and paperwork turned into the school to attend the screenings. Please be sure to register your child prior to the Screenings date so they may be included in this important process.
The following items are required documents and must be presented via email or in person prior to the start of school:
