Nurse’s Office Rules

Nurse’s Office Rules

1.  Students must come to the nurse’s office with a pass from the teacher whose class the student is missing.

2. The student is NOT to carry medication on them.  This includes over-the-counter medication.  This complies with our school’s and the state’s medication policy.  If a student requires medication during school, the proper permission form is to be completed and the form and the medication will be kept in the nurse’s office.

3.  The student is not to use the payphone and/or cell phone to call home to be excused because of illness.  If a student is ill, he / she is to see the nurse and she will call the parent / guardian.  If the nurse is unavailable, the office secretaries will call.  DO NOT pick up your child without talking to the nurse or the office secretaries first.

4. If the nurse sends your child home, an excuse is still required by the office.
